Monster Hunter World Fatalis Guide

This coming October 1, 2020 the Legendary Elder Dragon, Fatalis, has returned to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Fatalis is the main recurring monster in the Fifth and Final Update for Monster Hunter World Iceborne.

Use the Siege Weapons

Since the battle takes place in an area where there are a lot of siege weapons, make sure to use them to aid you in your fight against Fatalis. The most notable weapons to use will be the One-shot Binders and the Dragonator.

One-shot Binders

Across the Monster Hunter Series, you can use the One-shot Binder ammo to tie down the Fatalis similar to how you can Knock down other monsters with Environmental Traps.

Across the Monster Hunter Series, the Dragonator is the strongest siege weapon among all the others. Whenever you have a chance to use the Dragonator, try and lure the Fatalis near it and use it to deal a massive amount of damage to the Fatalis.

Dragon Elemental Weapons

Across the Monster Hunter Series, the Fatalis is always weak to the Dragon Element. If you are planning on brining elemental weapons against the Fatalis, make sure that the weapon has the Dragon Element since this is what the Fatalis has the weakest affinity to.

Clutch Claw Wounding

Across the Monster Hunter Series, the Fatalis has a very tough hide, and most melee attacks will bounce off of it. Make sure to use the Clutch claw to wound the Fatalis, this will prevent melee attacks from bouncing off of it.
